My practice, concerned with the exploration of 3-dimensional forms, attempts to make peace with a longing for a new subjectivity. Themes and critiques of cultural non-distinction, nihilism, rationalism, democracy, materialism, transcendental idealism, and the progress of Universal Spirit are recurring themes within my work. Drawing inspiration from German Idealism and early counter-enlightenment thought, my practice attempts to critique rationalism by and through its own framework. My practice involves the integration of figurative forms, typography, abstraction, and machining processes with sculptural relief.
